We are urgently looking for an Administrator / Billing Clerk to join a medical practice in Midrand.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Retrieve, reconcile and monitor all remittance advices
• Attend to resolve claim rejections
• Maximise payments received from medical schemes
• Request authorisation from the medical aid schemes on various platforms
• Follow-up on all outstanding claims
• Follow-up on short payments
• Update and send invoices to cash patients
• Action and update weekly statistical report
• Update the Alegra system with all relevant information
• Reduce the total outstanding balance in the Age Analysis by focusing on collections and reconciliations
• Assess and reconcile all outstanding claims to ensure the balances are accurately represented on the system
• Capture and Submit all IOD claims
• Identify any incorrect billing to amend and resubmit claims accordingly
• Submit weekly Claim Status Reports with detailed feedback
• Update the Alegra system with all relevant information
• General reception / admin duties
• Update and action sessions tracking report
• Attend and promote Wellness days
• Follow up monthly with historical patients
• Follow up on patients who did not attend their appointment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Matric
• Minimum 2 years’ working experience as an Administrator / Billings Clerk in the medical industry
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel
• Proficient in Medical Aid CRM Systems and portals
• Ambitious and eager to learn

SALARY (CTC)
• R10 000.00 – R15 000.00 per month
