Women's Month is an opportunity to recognise the women who shape our workplaces, communities and country through their resilience, leadership and contribution.

As part of our Women's Month celebrations, we're honoured to share Werks ICONIC: A Women's Edition, a special digital magazine featuring a some of the women leading different areas of Werksmans.

Through personal reflections, experiences and lessons learnt, they share what has shaped their careers, their approach to leadership and the values that guide them. More than a collection of personal stories, this edition offers a perspective beyond the day-to-day, providing an opportunity to get to know the people behind the professional titles.

As we commemorate Nelson Mandela International Day, we reflect on the enduring legacy of Madiba and the values that continue to inspire us: service, compassion and a shared responsibility to create positive change.

is a reminder that meaningful impact is achieved through collective action and a commitment to building a better future for all, especially those who are most vulnerable.

May today inspire us to turn reflection into action through acts of service that make a lasting difference.

Today we commemorate Freedom Day and reflect on South Africa’s first democratic elections in 1994, a defining moment in our nation's history, grounded in the values of the Constitution and the rights and freedom it upholds.

Under this year’s theme, “Freedom and the Rule of Law: Thirty Years of Democratic Citizenship”, we recognise the progress of our constitutional democracy and the ongoing importance of safeguarding rights, advancing equality and strengthening democratic citizenship.

We honour those who paved the way for our freedom and stand united in building a just and inclusive South Africa.
