On the 2 June 2017, a task team consisting of representatives from organized labour (ourselves), organized business, community and Government, convened at NEDLAC to start the process of reviewing and considering the contents of the draft National Minimum Wage Bill, 2017 and amendment to the NEDLAC, it was decided to adopt the NMW together with the Labour Relations Stability Agreement into law and practice by 01 May 2018.
