A consumer was told that the unused phone could be returned within seven days. The following day, when she sought to do that, the supplier refused.

In this article, we discuss the Letshabo v Telkom decision and the Tribunal's findings on the representations and the cancellation of fixed-term contracts.

We attended the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud (“CGSO”) Annual Report Launch last month. What stood out was that seventy-eight percent of all complaints received in the 2025/26 financial year were from Gauteng, the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.
