Think before you sign.
In terms of the Alienation of Land Act 68 of 1981 and section 4(3) of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, agreements for the sale or transfer of immovable property are excluded from the electronic signature provisions of the ECT Act.
A simple signing error could place an entire property transaction at risk.
