Meet Firdows Dobah ⚖️

Firdows joined us in 2025, shortly after her admission as attorney of the High Court. She holds an LLB from Stellenbosch University and completed her articles at VanderSpuy Cape Town, where she gained experience in personal injury, medical negligence, commercial litigation, and High Court motion work.

Her first exposure to family law came after articles, when she joined Perduco Law, a Cape Town firm practising in UK family law. There, she handled parenting disputes and engaged with UK court systems. But more than technical skills, that chapter revealed something deeper: supporting clients through emotionally complex transitions and building meaningful, people-centred legal relationships. Her desire for greater connection and impact led her directly to RCA.

Firdows also brings a strong academic edge. During her time at university she worked as a research assistant and tutor, supporting modules in constitutional and statutory interpretation and mentoring junior students, developing the clarity, rigour, and composure she now brings to every case.

Empathetic, insightful, and quietly formidable, Firdows is already making her presence felt in all the right ways.

Meet Yeh Bon Soon – Our New Candidate Attorney!

We’re excited to introduce Yeh Bon Soon, who joined our team as a Candidate Attorney in February this year.

Originally from South Korea, Yeh Bon has embraced South Africa as her home, completing her secondary schooling here before earning her BCom Law and LLB from Stellenbosch University.

Yeh Bon is deeply rooted in community and connection. While at university, she taught Korean part-time, and what began as tutoring soon turned into lasting friendships. To this day, she continues to mentor and support many of her former students.

Yeh Bon is also actively involved in Cape Town’s South Korean community, where she values the power of cultural connection and giving back. This same people-first approach is what makes her such a natural fit at RCA!

Yeh Bon has already made an impact in her short time with us, and we know this is just the beginning. Join us in officially welcoming her to the team!
