Real Estate and I and Why?

Yes , Real Estate has played such an important role in my life. Now days people join a Real Estate company to try and make the quick buck and as soon as they realize that its far more complex than what meets the eye, they resign. Over the years I have come across some people asking me why I am in the Real Estate Industry, and I have never really told them why, beside the fact that I love working with people and truly assisting them (somethings to my own determinant) this topic has always never gone deeper. So I thought I could share with you why I am actually in the Real Estate industry, but this time lets go a little deeper.

As a child I grew up in a at first stable home, it had four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a separate tv room just for us kids and obviously all the rest. I remember climbing trees, running on the lawn after school and helping my mum in the garden on the weekends, playing cricket in the streets and often walking to school and back. These are the flickers of images that my mind had saved to what I thought was the epitome of happiness. Throughout the years I've calculated moving in total about 17 times and no real memories stood out as much as those have. My passion for the Real Estate Industry started at an early age in my life, always admiring the new places that we were going to move in to, and pretty much make a summary of what I didn't like in some of the houses and how I would change it all, what colors the walls would be and how the kitchen layout should have been. I aspired to be an architect at first.

A couple of years after school, I started working for a Rental Division in Port Elizabeth , assisting with inspections of property, helping clients that were desperately looking for accommodation as well as the renewal of the lease agreements. I loved every step of the way, feeling as though I was making a difference in the world. I was assisting families in finding their "home".
