Its becoming concerning how many different people and organisation's are trying to get a "piece .of the paralegal.pie" to either monetise it or make a "name or owned space " around paralwgals, or both.

Only highlighting even more than ever the need for PALSA to step up its game and become a regulatory space and place for all paralegals

To all the professionals here, seeking resolution and solutions, before expensive litigation, is coming more into the fore front.

A good mediator has a strong chance of assisting the parties in finding a whole or a in part solution , much of the time.

Previously it was mainly focused only in family law.

For a long time I and PALSA supported mediation as a first option across many fields. With PIE and Civil litigation issues initially being recommended.

Now adding corporate/Commercial and Labour , allows for resolution based options as a first call, and disciplinaries, regulatory or courts as a second option, if the first did not bring the desired results to the parties.

This lso allows for the court process and proceedings to often be more streamlined,

Importantly s mediator with international accreditations can also assist with cross border matters.

To those paralegals who are experienced and well versed in court procedures and drafting

Since your not legally allowed to do this work in certain aspects

Do you feel its right that lawyers who have never done a certain type of application or motion and its drafting, should be allowed to ask on groups for a precedent and then be allowed to act for a paying client having no knowledge or skill in that field they are doing " for the first time"

Keep comments professional and respectful, even if there is disagreeing.
