Ever seen (RF) in a company name?
Here’s what it means:

If a company’s name ends with (RF) (Pty) Ltd, the RF stands for Ring-Fenced.

Think of it like a big warning sign: “Special rules apply here!”

Why does this matter?

It means the company’s founding document (called the MOI) has extra conditions that:
⚠️ Stop certain changes to the company rules.
⚠️ Add stricter requirements than the law usually does.
⚠️ Limit what the directors or the company can do.

Why should YOU care?
If you’re signing a contract with an (RF) company, you must read and understand its MOI first. Those special rules could affect your deal. Ignoring them could sink your ship. Knowing them could steer you safely to success.

💡 Quick tip: Before you sign, ask:
“Does your company have any special conditions in its MOI?”
If yes, read them. It’s your legal life jacket.
