I firmly believe in the truth of this statement, and it has been a driving force behind my own personal and professional growth over the years. When it comes to gaining knowledge and insight, there are few things more valuable than reading a good book or engaging with someone who has something meaningful to share.

That's why I am so passionate about encouraging people to seek out both great books and great people in their lives. By doing so, you will be well on your way to gaining the wisdom and insight you need to achieve your goals, overcome challenges, and live a happy, fulfilling life.

How to grow a brand? Yesterday I received a mail from someone who had joined an established brand and needed some guidance on brand expansion, here's my reponse to anyone looking to expand with soul.
1. define where the brand is? And which stores perform well? Who is your target market? How many stores are actually in the best markets?

2. where would you like to be? Are these goals realistic? Most brands could open about 10 stores at a push per year. But that might be aggressive and would depend on the infrastructure you have in place to support this expansion

3. undertake a strength & weaknesses of the brand analysis – then decide what corrective actions should be taken to close the gaps you identify

4. Actively find the optimal sites you would like to be in.. as in start talking to the centres

5. One of the hardest aspects of franchising is finding the right franchisees as well as the right sites at the same time. What are you doing to generate interest in your franchise?
