We are proud to announce the appointment of Nerina Austin as a Director of Klopper Jonker Incorporated as from 1 February 2023. Nerina holds an LLB degree from UNISA, and is admitted as an Attorney, Conveyancer & Notary Public. She will focus on civil litigation with a focus on local government law, commercial litigation and debt collection.

CANDIDATE LEGAL PRACTITIONER (CANDIDATE ATTORNEY)

Klopper Jonker Incorporated of 1st Floor Terrace Building, 1 Eaton Terrace, New Redruth, Alberton requires the services of a candidate legal practitioner (candidate attorney).

Requirements:
1. LLB degree (all requirements for LLB degree have been met by the candidate)
2. Good oral and written communication skills in English and fluent in one other official language.
3. Computer literate and proficient in MS Office.
4. Dynamic with an eagerness to learn, self-disciplined and the ability to work in a pro-active manner without constant supervision.
5. A quick learner with an ability to follow instructions.
6. Must be articulate, professional and able to work within deadlines.
7. Work as part of a team, approach each task with enthusiasm, deliver work of a high standard and seizing every opportunity to learn and grow in experience.
8. Candidate must be based in Gauteng.
9. Must have valid Drivers License.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide support to other Legal Practitioners and support staff within the firm in all aspects of legal practice.
2. Assisting in litigation cases and conduct research in support of matters.
3. Drafting of pleadings, letters and other documents.
4. Liaising with clients, counsel and colleagues.
5. Court appearances in Magistrate Courts and attending various courts for purposes of filing, resolving queries and other functions.

Salary:
R 6 500.00 per month.
