Change in NSW 491 Nomination Process:
NSW nominations for Subclass 491 will now be by invitation only.
Submission windows for the 2021-22 financial year are the months of August, October, January and March. You can only register your interest once during a submission window.
NSW will prioritise registrations of interest for stream 1 only where the applicant's visa is expiring. Priority will be based on visa expiry date and with visas that are expiring within three months of the submission window opening.
NSW will select and invite candidates to apply to a Regional Development Australia (RDA) office during a submission window and up to seven days after a submission window closes.
There are three nomination streams the 2021-22 financial year:
• Stream 1: Living and working in Regional NSW
• Stream 2: Recently completed study in Regional NSW
• Stream 3: Skilled in an occupation required in Regional NSW
Preference is given to migrants registering their interest under stream 1.

* Victoria’s Skilled Migration Program for 2021-22
ROI applications opened from today for subclass 190 and 491. The Department of Home Affairs has provided Victoria with 3,500 subclass 190 places, and 500 subclass 491 places.
This year Victoria will be selecting candidates who are currently living and working in Victoria, using their STEMM skills in a target sector.
The major changes includes removal of minimum work experience requirement, increase in target sectors, requirement for STEMM skills.
