USCIS Removed 60-Day Rule for Medical Exams in your Green Card petition.

One of the legal requirements for your Green Card application, in the I-485 stage, is a certificate from a doctor confirming that you have all valid vaccinations and your general health condition doesn't make you inadmissible for a Green Card. So far these exams were valid for 60 days which caused a lot of troubles to applicants, who either got RFEs for the outdated medical exams or lack of them, if the attorney decided to send them later in the process to comply with 60 days validity. With the new regulations the exams will be valid for 2 years.

NOTE: Please remember that only authorized doctors (referred to by USCIS as ‘civil surgeons’) can sign a valid medical report for immigration purposes.
