The workshop aims to raise awareness on the potential benefits of IP mediation mechanisms, the policy rationale, the advantages and limitations of IP mediation mechanisms, and success real examples and case studies of IP mediation in practices. EUIPO Board of Appeal and colleagues from ASEAN IP Offices, where IP mediation services are available, will be present to share success stories, experiences as well as the history to set up the IP mediation services in their respective countries. Target audience for the workshop will be policy makers and IP office management.
