CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF ADK VIETNAM LAWYERS | COMPANY TRIP 2026

From 12–14 June 2026, the entire ADK Vietnam Lawyers team came together for a memorable company trip to Phan Thiet to celebrate an important milestone – the 5th Anniversary of ADK Vietnam Lawyers.

Over the past five years, ADK has continued to grow through the trust of our clients, the support of our partners, and, above all, the dedication and passion of every member of our team. This journey was not only an opportunity to celebrate how far we have come, but also to strengthen the bonds that define our firm.

One of the highlights of the trip was our 5th Anniversary Gala Dinner, where we proudly recognized and expressed our sincere appreciation to colleagues who have been with ADK for 05 years, 03 years, as well as other team members whose commitment and contributions have played an important role in our development. The evening was made even more memorable by outstanding performances prepared and performed by ADK employees themselves, reflecting the creativity, enthusiasm, and strong team spirit that characterize our culture.

Beyond the celebrations, the team also had the opportunity to explore some of Phan Thiet's most iconic destinations, including Duc Thanh School, where President Ho Chi Minh once taught, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the breathtaking U&Me Sand Dunes, exciting Jeep adventures, and the beautiful Mango Beach.

Another unforgettable highlight was our beach team-building activities, where every challenge, every laugh, and every shared achievement further strengthened our teamwork, collaboration, and unity—values that continue to drive ADK forward every day.

ADK VIETNAM LAWYERS ADVISES TECHNOFIT SDN. BHD. ON THE 10MW HAU GIANG RICE HUSK POWER PLANT PROJECT

ADK Vietnam Lawyers is proud to have acted as legal counsel to Technofit Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysia-incorporated company specializing in integrated mechanical, electrical, and construction solutions across the energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

Since late 2024, ADK Vietnam Lawyers has been providing comprehensive legal support throughout the development of the Hau Giang 10MW Rice Husk Power Plant Project. Our scope of work included legal due diligence, investment and transaction structuring, participation in site surveys, preparation and negotiation of transaction documents, engagement with competent authorities at both central and local levels, and assistance with the legal procedures required to obtain the Decision on Approval of Investment Policy concurrently with Approval of the Investor.

On 26 June 2026, the project officially obtained the Decision on Approval of Investment Policy concurrently with Approval of the Investor from the Can Tho City People's Committee, marking a significant milestone in its development. Utilizing rice husk together with other agricultural by-products, including crop residues, straw, agricultural waste, and wood chips, the project will generate renewable electricity through biomass technology. It is expected to promote the efficient use of agricultural resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, minimize open-field burning of agricultural waste, and create greater value for the agricultural supply chain in the Mekong Delta. The project also reflects the growing confidence of international investors in Vietnam's renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure sectors.

ADK Vietnam Lawyers' involvement in this transaction further demonstrates our capabilities in advising on complex investment and M&A transactions, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors. We remain committed to delivering practical, commercially focused legal solutions that support our clients' investment objectives and contribute to Vietnam's sustainable development.

ADK VIETNAM LAWYERS SUCCESSFULLY ADVISES CLIENT ON A MAJOR M&A TRANSACTION IN PHU THO PROVINCE

ADK VIETNAM LAWYERS is proud to have advised an integrated agro-based business group from Malaysia on its successful participation in the auction of secured assets attached to a land area of 408,627.5 m² in Phu Tho Province, Vietnam.

Since late 2024, ADK VIETNAM LAWYERS has acted as legal counsel to the client throughout various key stages of the transaction, including reviewing and conducting legal due diligence on the assets, providing legal opinion, assessing legal issues relating to land use rights and assets attached to land, advising on the auction dossier and participation conditions, assisting with the preparation of relevant documents, and liaising with relevant organizations, authorities and stakeholders during the auction process.

This is a notable transaction in the market, involving the auction of assets attached to land leased by the State with annual land rental payments. According to the assessment of the Phu Tho Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, this transaction is one of the largest secured asset auctions in Vietnam involving assets attached to land leased by the State under an annual land rental payment scheme, particularly in the context following the effectiveness of Resolution No. 254/2025/QH15 of National Assembly of Vietnam on certain mechanisms and policies to address difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of the Land Law 2024, which took effect on 01 January 2026.

The successful completion of this transaction further reinforces ADK VIETNAM LAWYERS' expertise in advising on sophisticated investment, real estate, and land-related matters in Vietnam. Through our practical, commercially driven, and solution-oriented approach, we remain committed to assisting clients in navigating high-value and complex transactions requiring a deep understanding of both the legal framework and regulatory practice in Vietnam.

On 13 May 2026, ADK Vietnam Lawyers was delighted to welcome students from the High-Quality Program Class CLC49(B) – University of Law of Ho Chi Minh City for an insightful field trip and career orientation session at our office.

Organized in collaboration with the Institute of International Education belonging to University of Law of Ho Chi Minh City, the visit aimed to provide students with valuable exposure to the practical working environment of a professional law firm and bridge the gap between academic learning and legal practice.

During the session, students had the opportunity to:

1. Gain a deeper understanding of the structure, practice areas, and working culture of a professional law firm;
2. Explore practical legal and compliance issues relating to human resources management and legal representative obligations in foreign-invested enterprises (FDI);
3. Learn more about recruitment processes, career pathways, and expectations for young legal professionals; and
4. Exchange questions and insights regarding the skills, mindset, and adaptability required in a real working environment.
