How New I-539 Change?
Since February 24, 2020, national tourists, students and national workers in the United States want to renew or change the audiences (visa) will have to answer questions about using their public welfare during the United States. In fact, non-migrants are not valid to ask for these welfare, such as Medicare), food stamps and other cash allowance.
New I-539 application is required until applying for extension or switching after February 23th. The new single has a page that offers questions about Public Welfare, especially about cash aid. Non-migrants are not allowed to receive public welfare, so they need to mark the letter "No, I did not take any public welfare above".
However, sometimes, a social service office, a hospital or a loving housing agency wants to grant a few public welfare but don't know that non-migrants are not valid receive such welfare. I-539 requires details of the public welfare received. Non-migrants if receiving public welfare may lose their legal presence in the United States and create trouble that cannot be reimmigration in the future.
International students and visitors should not receive public welfare from federal, state, county or from any local government agencies in the United States. These welfare include programs such as Medicare / Medicaid), Social Security Advantage Allowance (i.e. Supplemental Social Security Income), Allowance for Families with Fifi (i.e. Families with Dependent Children), food stamp (food stamp), and housing allowance.
Collaborations between state social services agencies and USCIS Department of Immigration and the Ministry of Giao will easily help immigration workers know who have received public welfare. Receiving public welfare shows that this individual cannot make their financial commitments and will make them no longer valid stay in the United States.
Should I call " illegal people " or " undocumented migrants "?
Which word do you want to use: Illegal Nationals? Illegal Immigration? Illegal People? Immigration Without Paper? Immigration Is Not Allowed? Or " illegally here?". A legislator in Colorado has suggested to replace the word " illegally " undocumented migrants ".
Trump has used the word "illegally" at least five times in his speech on the recent State of the Union). Some conservatives say that the name "illegal national" is fair and everyone understands because it has been used for decades by law makers, judges and newspapers. But, others say this wording dignity of migrants. In 2015, the state of California abandoned the word "national" in labor law.
Representative Joaquin Castro of Taxas submitted a bill in July 2019 to replace two words " nationalists " and " illegal nationalists " with two words " citizenship foreign countries " and " people with no papers ". On the contrary, in 2018, the Justice Department sent a Note to federal prosecutors to remind them to use the word " person Illegal country " instead of using " without papers ".
Attack Associated Press releases a book on guiding style for hundreds of their news sources. In 2013, they decided to stop using "illegal" to talk about someone. They say only action is illegal, but people are not illegal.
Deadline Immigration Screening Day
The U.S. Ministry of Giao is responsible for designing audiences (visa) dates per month. If a bail application is submitted before the due date, valid applicants to prepare to be interviewed for migrants at the U.S. Consulate.
For example, March's date for F1 bail over 21 years of U.S. citizen is October 8, 2013. F1 bail forms are submitted before date October 8, 2013 is considered "limited" and ready to switch to auditorial procedures. Bail forms submitted after due date will have to wait more time.
For F1 bail, the current waiting period is six to seven years. There is no way the Ministry of Giao can say it correctly. This depends on how many people actually ask for audiences.
From the application until the deadline date there will be many things that affect audiences and date. Auditorial application numbers may change because the number of family members decide not to migrate, either because of the bail passed away, or divorce, or more children need to add names to the number of bail pending bail for an interview.
The demand for audiences can be fluctuated from month to month and will affect the date. Near the end of each lock, the number of audiences are issued every year usually nearly over, so the date usually moves very slowly, or stop, or backwards.
When the demand for audiences from some particular country exceeds the limited number of audiences each year, this nation is considered registered for overdue audiences and audiences can no longer be issued .
