🎃👻 EVERY CHILD DESERVES A LITTLE HALLOWEEN MAGIC! ✨🧡

For some kiddos in our community, dressing up for Halloween isn’t a given. Without a little help, they may not have a costume to wear or the chance to experience the excitement of becoming their favorite character for a day. 💜

That’s where YOU come in! 🥰

Last year, thanks to our AMAZING community, we collected enough Halloween costumes to make sure EVERY SINGLE CHILD at The Pineapple Inn and Housing Center had a costume! 🥹🎃

And guess what? WE’RE DOING IT AGAIN! 🙌

We’re collecting children’s Halloween costumes now through October 24th, and we’d LOVE your help making the magic happen!

We did it together last year, and we KNOW we can do it again! 💚

So dig through those closets, spread the word, and help us make sure these sweet kiddos don’t miss out on the magic of Halloween!

⚠️ Due to the anticipated crowds on the 4th of July, several temporary traffic patterns in Historic Yorktown are required, in addition to street closures and blockades.

Free parking will be available during the day at York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, County Administration Building, the Riverwalk Landing Parking Terrace, the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center, and other designated public parking lots throughout town.

🚗 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝟒 𝐩.𝐦., unless you are a Yorktown Village resident, business owner, or have an official pass—you will not be permitted to park in Historic Yorktown. Visitors attending the evening activities must park on the Yorktown Battlefield at the corner of Cook Road and Ballard Street, which can be accessed via Cook Road. The Battlefield will remain open to the public until 8:30 p.m. or until it reaches capacity. This includes visitors attempting to access the town via Goosley Road, Old Williamsburg Road, and Mathews Street (by way of George Washington Memorial Highway).

🧑🏼‍🦼‍➡️ 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞:
Transportation will be provided from Yorktown Middle School from 4-7 p.m. for those with disabilities and special needs, as well as one designated es**rt (friend, family member, caregiver, etc.). You must be on-site and checked in by 7 p.m. to catch the transport to the waterfront.
