Be sure to check out your local library's calendar to see what events they have going on. They may have crafting for children, crafting for adults, author book signings, petting zoos (yes, I've been to a few of these!), and more!

Moving Monday Tip ➿📦

Be sure to tape your drawers/doors shut on furniture! Whether you have filled the drawer with something **not heavy** for easy packing, or if you've emptied them to keep the load light, making sure the drawers stay shut alleviates the issue of drawers coming open either while loading/unloading, or in transit itself.

FAQ Friday: Seller Edition!!

It's extremely common for seller's to want to price a certain way because "I remember our Thanksgiving memories in here."
I'm here to break the news to you...don't take it personal. Buyers do not purchase a house based on what memories already are held in the house's bones. The best way to go into selling a property is looking at is exactly that way---as property- and not as a sanctuary for memories!

Don't want to take down your clothes individually just to hang them back up in your new house? If you're moving more locally (Truthfully I don't know how beneficial this is if you're moving cross-country...) you can wrap your clothes up in a trash bag, move it, and hang it up in your new home- bim bam boom! 👕👗

FAQ Friday: Seller Edition!

There is always the concern of how secure a house can be when there's a key that's available to others to show houses....so how do I keep your house secure while it's listed for sale?
I have multiple options for my sellers, each have their own pros and cons. In all situations, though, it's required for others to contact me for the code/access to the house, so rest assured both you and I ALWAYS know who has access to the key, and what time they will be there!

Income taxes...what does that have to do with me purchasing a house? 🧐

If you plan on purchasing using a loan, previous years of tax returns will likely be requested by lenders. It's good to have these readily available and on hand for when that time comes 📄💰
