ODU just released its 30th annual market review, and the numbers are 🔥🔥🔥

While the rest of the country is struggling through a tough housing market, Hampton Roads is doing its own thing. Prices are up, demand is high, and homes are still moving—just with some challenges along the way.

📈 Prices jumped 6.5% last year, with the average resale hitting $391,477
💰 Luxury homes are booming—550+ sold for over $1M in 2024
🏡 Inventory is tight—80% of homeowners have rates under 5%
🚧 Existing home sales are down 37% and new construction isn’t filling the gap

The one bright spot? Interest rates could dip closer to 5% by late 2025. But when that happens, expect competition to skyrocket again.
