1. Do you think the Ignition Interlock system (blow and go) requirements while actively driving distracts drivers as much as texting?
2. Do you think it makes sense for drivers charged with DUI for having ma*****na in their system, but no alcohol, be required by PA law to install an Ignition Interlock System in their vehicle knowing that it is incapable of detecting ma*****na or anything other substance besides alcohol?

The idea of making people blow into a device once they have shown an inclination to drink and drive has merit. But having them blow while driving at 70 mph is both dumb and dangerous.

Hahaha. Just another Lawyer joke.

Question: Can you receive Unemployment Benefits if you are terminated for refusing to get the vaccination?
“The state Department of Labor & Industry says there was never a ‘one-size-fits-all answer’ to whether or not those who refused a mandated vaccine qualified for unemployment benefits.
‘Each case must be adjudicated on its individual merits, there is no general-purpose, or ‘one size fits all’ answer that can be provided to resolve the question of whether or not an individual who separates from employment due to the individual’s refusal to receive a vaccination will be found to be qualified to obtain UC benefits,’ Sarah DeSantis, a spokesperson for the agency said.”
In summation:
1. Apply for any exemptions available,
2. Put your employer on notice as to why you cannot or will not take the vaccination,
3. If you are terminated, apply for Unemployment Benefits, and get a determination from the UC Service Center.
4. If they deny your UC benefits, file an appeal, and request a hearing.
