The hardest client I've ever had to convince wasn't a first-time seller. It was a fellow agent.
 
She knew this business inside and out, and she still nearly left half a million dollars on the table because she couldn't see what made her property different. It's a good reminder that even the most experienced people benefit from a second set of eyes, especially on something as personal as their own home.
 
My job isn't to tell people what they want to hear. It's to see the value they might be missing and fight for it, even when they're pushing back.
 
Sometimes the best thing an agent can do is respectfully disagree with their own client.

Getting approved is the easy part. Staying financially comfortable after closing? That's the part most people don't talk about. :key:

We work closely with a trusted lending partner, and one thing they always tell our buyers: qualifying for a number and being comfortable with that number month to month are two very different things. That gap matters more than people realize.

A mortgage should leave room for the rest of your life, not just cover the roof over your head.

8pm and just now walking out.

Offers written. Repairs negotiated. Listings prepped. Buyers guided through their own renovations. A lender call that’s going to make someone’s week. A notice to perform because not everyone holds up their end. And Friday’s appointments already prepped before the day even ends.

Some days this job is exhausting. Today reminded me why it’s worth it anyway.
