We love participating in the Annual Day of Cheer at Cape Abilities Farm! Thank you Cape Abilities for hosting the BCBA!

Members of the Barnstable County Bar Association joined us at Cape Abilities Farm this week to volunteer their time and creativity — helping us make beautiful holiday wreaths!

As part of their annual Day of Cheer, several volunteers even stayed late because they were having so much fun and didn’t want to leave. ❤️🎄

A heartfelt thank-you to the Barnstable County Bar Association and Cape Abilities Board Member Sara Kohls for continuing this tradition. We’re so grateful for your support and look forward to continuing this festive partnership!

Join the BCBA for this very important seminar on the changes to the 209A law!

Did you know that the definition of abuse for purposes of obtaining an abuse prevention order (G. L. c. 209A) has changed? Join the BCBA and Independence House, Inc. Hyannis, MA on Thursday, February 6, 3-5pm at the Barnstable Probate and Family Court for a presentation from Attorney Jamie Sabino of Massachusetts Law Reform Institute about these changes, followed by a panel discussion with judges and legal professionals - RSVP information in the attached flyer. This program is eligible for 2CLE credits for Bar Advocates on the criminal adult panel. Attorneys, law enforcement, and other professionals are invited to attend.

Thrilled to announce that I've been named to the 2023 Super Lawyers Rising Star List! I'm truly honored to have been named to the list for the third year in a row. Only 2.5% of attorneys in Massachusetts receive this distinction.
