Hi Friends,

This post is about Judge Ed Wilson.

Judge Wilson is running for re-election as the Senior Resident Superior Court Judge in Rockingham and Caswell Counties. Daniel Thomas Law is a local firm based in Caswell County, but we practice in both Counties, so we know Judge Wilson and have personally appeared before him. Judge Wilson is everything that our justice system strives to be - he is honest, he is fair, he is tough on crime, and yet, he is compassionate and willing to give people a 2nd chance when it's deserved and when it's earned. This is why an overwhelming majority of both the Rockingham County bar and the Caswell County bar (private practicing attorneys) are 100% behind Judge Wilson in his race for re-election. Daniel Thomas Law is proud to support Judge Wilson because we know he is the right choice for the job.

Judge Wilson has been a Superior Court Judge in Rockingham County since 2003, so he has been on the bench for almost 20 years. Since 2003, he has been elected 3 consecutive times to continue his service as a Judge. Not only has Judge Wilson served our two Counties and our State as a Judge, but he also serves in our nation's military as well. After 9/11, Judge Wilson felt compelled to serve our nation, he joined the Army as a JAG officer, and even did a year of active duty in 2011. Judge Wilson has taught law at West Point and still to this day serves our country as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. Also, Judge Wilson was recently elected by his judicial peers to serve as the President of the North Carolina Conference of Superior Court Judges for 2022-2023. This is the statewide governing body for all Superior Court Judges, both active and retired. This is telling of how well respected Judge Wilson is as a Judge across the entire state of North Carolina. All of the above is invaluable experience, plain and simple. Rockingham and Caswell Counties cannot afford to lose Judge Wilson's experience.

Judge Wilson has the respect and wide support of both Republicans and Democrats alike. He is supported by our elected District Attorney Jason Ramey for the very things that I have mentioned above. Furthermore, Judge Wilson has the support of law enforcement communities in both Rockingham and Caswell Counties. And last, but most certainly not least, Judge Wilson has the endorsement of and is supported by the president pro tempore of the NC Senate and a leader of the NC GOP, Senator Phil Berger. All of these people know what Judge Wilson is about, and that is why they are in his corner.

If you are voting in Rockingham or Caswell Counties, Judge Wilson needs your help to be re-elected - he deserves our votes and he deserves to be our Senior Resident Superior Court Judge.
