Some of you may remember my fundraiser last year making soap to sell for my nephew Tavish, who was three when he got high-risk leukemia.

He is back home and doing much better, though recovery is a long road. Three cheers for Tavish, who has been a great little trooper through it all!

Also, there are great how-to guides for family law and other common legal issues available on: https://www.washingtonlawhelp.org/
Northwest Justice Project has a free legal help line, the CLEAR Hotline, at 1-888-201-1014. However, their resources are limited at this time due to the Coronavirus-related restrictions.

Acosta Law is not affiliated with the above organizations, but we do regularly refer people to these resources to be helpful when they are deciding whether they need to hire an attorney.

Let's all take a minute to think of the elderly or disabled people we know who may need a few errands run or some help with something, and reach out to them.

These are scary times for all of us, but it takes remembering that some individuals have limited mobility, compromised immune systems, little to no local support network, or are unfamiliar with current communication technology.

I’m an elderly person with no children, siblings, or parents. I need more resources to navigate major life decisions.
