Ready for fireworks this Independence Day?
IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE 😄
Safe & Legal: Your July 4th Fireworks Guide for Ohio!
We want to help you celebrate without any legal surprises. Here's what Ohioans need to know:

🎇WHAT FIREWORKS CAN YOU USE?
Only 1.4G consumer-grade fireworks are legal without a license (roman candles, sparklers, fountains). Display-grade fireworks (1.3G) require both state and federal licenses.

💥WHERE AND WHEN?
You can set off fireworks on your own private property or with the property owner's permission. Legal times: July 3, 4, and 5, plus the surrounding Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m.

🎇KEY SAFETY RULES:
• No one under 18 may handle or discharge fireworks
• Anyone under 18 must stay 150+ feet from aerial fireworks
• Spectators must stay 150 feet from aerial devices, 50 feet from ground devices
• No fireworks indoors, aimed at people, or on public property
• Do not use fireworks while under the influence of alcohol or drugs

💥WOOSTER RESIDENTS: The city noise ordinance still applies. Fireworks audible more than 50 feet away cannot be discharged between midnight and 6 a.m., even on a holiday.

🎇BUY SMART: Always purchase from a licensed manufacturer or retailer as required by Ohio law.
