I was honored last week to receive the Paul Harris Fellow Award from the Rotary Club of Woodstock (presented by Sheriff Tim Carter, top photo). At the same awards luncheon, I presented the Paul Harris Fellow Award to my good friend and fellow member of the Woodstock Town Council, Steve Heishman (bottom photo). I had no idea that I would be receiving the award at the same luncheon that I was presenting the award! It's very humbling to be the recipient of an award that so many great individuals in our Rotary Club have received in the past! - JDM

Many thanks to the residents of Woodstock for re-electing me, as well as Town Council members Paje Cross, Frank Haun, and Steve Heishman, yesterday. We have a great group of elected officials, administration, and staff working together to keep Woodstock headed in the right direction!

Congrats to the Woodstock Rotary Club on the awards it received at the District Conference. Pictured are Club President Jeremy D. McCleary and Woodstock's "Mr. Rotary," Bob Claytor. The club received the Gold Club Award, 1st Place for the Multi-Club Award shared with the other Area 2 Clubs for their work together, and Kevin Gutshall received the 110% Award for Area 2. Way to go Woodstock Rotary!!!
