Happy Memorial Day to every family who has ever sent someone they love off to serve this great country, and to every hero who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we could live in freedom. Your courage, your devotion, and your love for this nation will never be forgotten.

I am thankful every single day for the freedoms I enjoy, the family I cherish, and the life God has blessed me with, and none of it would be possible without the brave men and women who served and gave their all.

From my family to yours, may your day be filled with gratitude, love, and meaningful moments with the people who matter most.

🌟 Georgia is ALIVE this week and next weekend and you do NOT want to miss out! 🌟

Happy Monday, friends! I missed my Moving Craze post last weekend so I am making it up to you with a DOUBLE dose of fun! 🎉 Whether you are already living your best Georgia life or thinking about making a move here, let me just say… this state never runs out of reasons to love it! 🏰 The Georgia Renaissance Festival is still going strong through May 31 in Fairburn! Traditional music, food, live entertainment, craft vendors, and special themed weekends. It is the perfect family outing and honestly one of my favorite Georgia traditions! 🍖🎭

🎮 MomoCon is coming up fast and it is HUGE! Over 50,000 people are expected at the Georgia World Congress Center May 21-24 and y’all… MomoCon is ALL AGES so whether you are 8 or 80 there is something for you! 😄 My girls Izzy and Michaella are going this year and Izzy’s boyfriend Tyson is even flying in all the way from California to meet up with his friends there! ✈️💕 I am just the proud mama over here living vicariously! 😂🙌 Whether you love anime, gaming, comics, cosplay or just want to be around a whole lot of fun and creative energy, this one is worth it! 🎨✨

🗓️ NEXT WEEKEND (May 22-25) – Memorial Day Weekend! 🇺🇸

🎆 Stone Mountain Park is throwing a full Memorial Day Weekend Celebration May 22-25 with fireworks AND a laser and drone show! One of those Georgia bucket-list moments right here! 😍

🎨 Alpharetta Arts Fest runs May 23-24 at the Grove in Wills Park with artists from across the country, food trucks, and kids activities! Alpharetta is always a great time and this one is FREE! 🙌

🎷 Atlanta Jazz Festival takes over Piedmont Park May 23-25 for one of the LARGEST FREE jazz festivals in the entire country! Live jazz from local and national greats, a kids zone, youth jazz competition, and so much more! Get outside and enjoy it, y’all! ☀️🎶

🍺 Brew at the Zoo on May 23 at Zoo Atlanta brings together craft beers from Georgia and beyond with live music, yard games, and ANIMALS! How fun is that?! 🦁🍻

🍷 Dahlonega Arts and Wine Festival is also happening up in the beautiful North Georgia mountains this weekend at the Public Square! If you have never been to Dahlonega, THIS IS YOUR SIGN! 🏔️🥂

🎸 Night Ranger is taking over Main Street, Kennesaw! 💛

Kick off the 2026 Concert Series on Saturday, March 28 at the United Bankshares Amphitheater at Depot Park. Classic rock anthems like Sister Christian and (You Can Still) Rock in America are coming to life, plus The Judies will get the night started with their own high-energy set.

Friday night was extra special. After a successful closing, I brought the family to celebrate in downtown Woodstock 🍕

We tried a new spot and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere felt elevated yet welcoming, the manager took time to chat with us, our waitress was wonderful, and the pizza — especially that creamy basil white pie — was next level. You can taste the quality in every bite.

This is what I love about where we live. Work hard. Celebrate well. Support local.

Downtown Woodstock just keeps getting better.

Friday night was extra special ✨ After a successful closing, I brought the family to celebrate at Fire & Stone Italian Pizza Kitchen right in downtown Woodstock 🍕

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt elevated yet welcoming. The manager took time to chat with us, our waitress was attentive and wonderful, and the service truly made the experience stand out.

We tried one of their creamy white pizzas topped with basil — fresh, flavorful, and definitely on the higher-end side of pizza. You can taste the quality in every bite.

If you’re looking for a fun night out, great food, and a place that makes you feel taken care of, this spot is worth checking out ❤️
