🚑 Can you ask an ambulance to take you to a specific hospital? Sometimes, yes.

If you’re stable, alert, and your condition is not immediately life-threatening, you may be able to request a hospital where your doctors, records, or specialists are already located.

But in a true emergency—such as a suspected stroke, heart problem, major trauma, pregnancy complication, pediatric emergency, or serious burn—EMS will typically take you where they believe you can receive the most appropriate care as quickly as possible.

🚨 Another Major Social Media Addiction Lawsuit Update

Meta has been hit with another major ruling in New Mexico.

After a jury ordered Meta to pay $375 million earlier this year, a judge has now imposed an additional $567 million and found Meta’s platforms to be a public nuisance.

The ruling also goes beyond money. Meta has been ordered to make significant changes aimed at protecting minors in New Mexico, including restrictions involving underage accounts, notifications, privacy settings, and youth safety features.

This comes as Meta and other major social media companies face thousands of lawsuits from families, school districts, and state governments alleging that their platforms were designed in ways that harmed children and teens. Meta denies the allegations and plans to appeal the New Mexico ruling.

🏥 When should you speak up in the hospital?

Hospitals can be stressful and intimidating, especially when you or a loved one is sick, in pain, or recovering from a procedure.

But if something suddenly seems different, speak up.

A new pain. Trouble breathing. Weakness. Fever. Bleeding. Difficulty urinating. A new sore or other unexpected symptom.

You know your body—and you know your loved ones. If something feels off, tell the nurse or doctor and ask questions.

A simple tip: keep a note on your phone with symptoms, changes, and questions so you don’t forget anything in the moment.
