8 Cruise Packing Mistakes Everyone Makes (and How to Avoid Them)

It’s tempting to bring everything “just in case,” but you’ll only end up hauling extra weight. Stick to versatile pieces that can mix and match.
2. Bringing New Shoes
New shoes can be tempting, but be sure to break them in before your cruise. Cruise days are full of walking, and you want to avoid blisters from shoes that haven’t been worn enough. Make sure your shoes are comfy and ready for the adventure!
3. Packing Clothes from Only One Season
Remember, the weather can be unpredictable. Be sure to pack layers for warmth, but don’t forget lighter clothes for sunnier days.
