Hey everyone!

SALDF is kicking off Paw Review this week up through the next two weeks. To all pet owners out there, please email me directly any photos of your furry (or hairless) friends to be featured on the WFU SALDF page!!

Votes will take place for the photos by number of likes they have! So don’t forget to keep checking back on the newest additions, and feel free to like as many as you wish!

Looking forward to receiving all entries!

Hello everyone! SALDF is hosting a towel drive to help you out with some spring cleaning while supporting the animals at the Forsyth Humane Society. The idea of the drive is to collect any new or used towels, blankets, sheets, paper towels, etc. that might otherwise be thrown away. These items will be donated to the humane society to make the animals feel more comfortable in their temporary home.
There will be boxes in the commons starting tomorrow, Tuesday April 24th, until May 11th. We do ask that items be washed prior to donating so that they are ready to be used by the shelter animals.
Thank you and happy finals!!!

If anyone is looking for a productive study break, this video is worth a watch. It depicts one of the ways people are attempting to mitigate the conflict between humans and tigers in the Sundarbans. Spoiler alert...dogs are involved. (warning-it can be a little graphic after minute 40 for some parts)

Medical experimentation on chimpanzees has ended, but moving all of them into retirement will be a difficult task.
