Law Office of Kevin J. Williams, PLLC Mr. After 18 years of practice, Kevin opened his own firm in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in early 2014. Kevin is a graduate of Duke University.

Williams handles many types of serious and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases, including tractor-trailer wrecks, other motor vehicle cases, nursing home negligence, and premises liability cases such as trampoline park injuries. Prior to that, he practiced for 12 years at one of North Carolina’s preeminent plaintiff’s firms. There, Kevin handled all manner of catastrophic injury

cases, as well as business disputes. Kevin also spent nearly 5 years representing insurance companies in all kinds of injury cases and insurance coverage matters. Kevin currently handles all types of serious injury cases, including tractor trailer collisions, other motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and medical malpractice cases. In addition, Kevin represents businesses that need an experienced litigator to handle contract disputes, shareholder disputes, and business torts, like fraud and misrepresentation. He earned his law degree from Wake Forest University in 1996. Kevin is active in a variety of professional organizations including the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the American Association for Justice. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina State Bar. From 2009-11, Kevin was named a “Rising Star” by North Carolina’s Super Lawyers magazine. He received the distinction of “Super Lawyer” by the same publication in the area of medical malpractice litigation from 2012-2014, and in the area of general personal injury litigation in 2015 and 2016. Further, Kevin has been rated as an AV preeminent lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell, which means that his fellow lawyers rank him in the highest category for ethical standards, legal excellence and professional abilities. Kevin has been admitted to practice in all North Carolina federal district and state courts, as well as the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a frequent lecturer and is the author of a chapter in Personal Injury Practice in North Carolina, entitled “Identifying, Retaining and Training Expert Witnesses.”

Kevin is actively involved in a number of charitable organizations and currently serves on the Board of H.O.P.E., which is a local organization that seeks to feed the hungry in and around Winston-Salem, NC. When he is not working, Kevin can be found spending time with his wife and two boys, often on the sidelines or in the gym cheering the boys on in whatever sport they are playing at the moment.
