After Hurricane Helene devastated much of Western North Carolina, many in Winston-Salem are eager to help those in need, but may not know how to do so. If you would like to help, you may bring and drop-off items you would like to donate to the hard hit folks of Western NC to James Barrett Wilson and Associates at 411 Waughtown Street in Winston-Salem. Supplies from here will then be transported via truck on Thursday, Oct 3rd at 12pm to a larger staging area in Hickory, NC to be transported and distributed in and around the Western NC Counties.

The following items are requested:

Shelf-stable food (pop-top cans preferred, not requiring a can opener), bottled water, baby and toddler formula, diapers, contractor-size trash bags, blankets, first aid supplies, feminine hygiene products, baby clothes, dog food, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, paper towels, bleach, shovels, brooms, gloves, coolers, propane, cook stoves, flashlights, batteries, fans, dehumidifiers, and generators. In summary, anything you can spare is needed. Thank you for any support you may be able to provide.
