One of my favorite days of the year. Each fall a group of Baird & Warner agents and employees gather to help Habitat for Humanity Chicago build homes and empower people through homeownership. It’s always a pleasure pounding nails alongside these great people and seeing firsthand the massive impact Habitat is having on people and communities.

None of it would be possible without the support and commitment to doing what’s right from our company’s leadership - especially the tremendously generous Baird family. Thank you Steve - and thanks for being part of our build day!

If you’ve followed my page for a while you know I’ve been involved with Habitat for Humanity Chicago through Baird & Warner build days for many years now. It’s inspirational to work with the great people at Habitat Chicago and to witness first hand the positive impact they’ve had on so many. In fact, Baird & Warner recently announced a multi-year partnership with Habitat Chicago that will go a long way towards ensuring they have the resources they need to keep providing housing to those in need.

The news today of Mackenzie Scott donating hundreds of millions of dollars to Habitat Chapters nationwide and that Habitat Chicago will receive $2.5M is mind blowing. This will help so many Chicagoans achieve the dream of homeownership!
