The twins created our new mascots! They started by telling me all the details they wanted, (of course, they couldn’t all happen. lol) - they did both agree to a dog and everything else about him, but they could not agree on the color of the outfit, so i told them my idea of maybe we could have TWO. One for the junk removal department and one for our recycling department. They both agreed, probably because the only thing they understood about that conversation was “we can have two”😂😂
Of course, we have to be able to tell them apart! So That opened up the opportunity for them to each pick a dog breed! I didn’t even think about it to begin with, The original was just a brown dog. Lincoln chose the german shepherd and autumn chose the golden retriever. Now - as if having them create them wasn’t entertaining enough, I wish i could remember all the crazy names I had to VETO because the naming part was hilarious! As you’d expect from 4-year olds, they wanted to name the dogs after theirselves or each other. As well as autumn requested several times for the name of her’s to be “Me”, “Me-Autumn”, “Her”, or “Dog” - She also requested the name “Zuma” a few times which we originally agreed on.
Lincoln Requested “Blue” “Green” and “Brown” before I said “Let’s do something that’s NOT a color” Then He wanted to name him either Chase or Rocky, He said he “Really” wants to name him Chase. At this point, I realized those names were starting to sound familiar together and that’s when I realized what they were doing - They wanted to name them after Paw Patrol! 😂😂
As funny as that was, I told them that we want our puppies to be separate from paw patrol, and I ended up searching a list of names on google for each one and read them off until they each finally heard one they liked. This project lasted several hours and but had a blast doing it! I should’ve recorded the whole thing because the details they were arguing over with this was HILARIOUS!
