Excited to announce I have joined the Board of Directors of another fabulous non profit, Start-Up Kid's Club ("SKC").

I was first introduced to SKC when my 9 year old son enrolled in their young entrepreneurs after school class last fall. I was so impressed with Amber Poole, her passion and the class content, and I'm thrilled to be a part of her board and have the opportunity to help more young entrepreneurs.

I'm particularly excited to be a Gold Sponsor of, and on the leadership committee for, SKC's new initiative, Camp CommUnity ("CU"), which is providing 3 weeks of free or low cost camp for 100 kids/week this summer in the Wimberley Valley.

This camp is a herculean effort by Amber with support several local nonprofit partners, including my other favorite local non profit, Barnabas Connection, where I also serve on the board of directors.

Thankful for my community's plethora of awesome, talented people and love being able to give back to my community, especially for the kiddos in need.

It was so fun talking to these young entrepreneurs about general legal considerations for start ups and some options for minors to legally own their businesses.

I love the enthusiasm and creativity of these elementary students, and I look forward to seeing their final results at their upcoming market day.

Thank you Start-Up Kid's Club, Wimberley! You are doing a great job, with hands on skill building and teaching these kiddos so many valuable business lessons, not to mention giving access to such cool tech and new skills.
