I am happy to announce that I have moved my office to 148 Danbury Road in Wilton. The building is a 1889 Post Office building moved in 1964 from Hurlbutt Street to the Wilton Historical Society property at Lambert Corners.

Workers with degenerative diseases such a Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson's Disease often want to keep working, but don't want working longer to hurt any future long-term disability claim. I posted an article today discussing how using reasonable accommodation requests under the ADA, and close analysis of the provisions of the plan document, can help those with degenerative diseases fulfill their career goals, and navigate the difficult process of moving from diagnosis to disability.

Long-term disability insurers are skeptical of LTD claims based on Long COVID. In an article I posted today on my site, https://lnkd.in/eh-DNE2s I discuss how Long COVID LTD claims can be proven using the same strategies LTD claims lawyers have developed to prove LTD claims such as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and early stage degenerative diseases like multiple sclerosis. I also discuss how research into and awareness of Long COVID can help claimants with other types of disabilities.
