Kinder-Morgan Pipeline Preventative Maintenance

Good afternoon Boones Ferry and Wood families,

During the week of Feb. 10, Kinder Morgan will begin routine preventative maintenance to the high-pressure gas line that runs adjacent Wood Middle School and Boones Ferry Primary in the baseball field area behind Wood. This is regular work that is required every few years and does not create additional safety hazards.

Security fencing will be put in place around the entirety of the work site during maintenance and will not impact day-to-day school operations. Appropriate signage will also be in place for school visitors. Kinder Morgan expects this maintenance to take approximately two weeks to complete, at which time the field will be available for use again.

Again, this is routine work and there is no danger to safety of students, staff, or community members. For reference, maintenance was last conducted in 2023.
