Today, I had the honor of attending the Oath of Office ceremony for Ricky Parks as he was officially sworn in as the next Marshal for the Supreme Court of North Carolina. I have known Ricky and worked alongside him for many years, and I can think of no one more deserving of this honor.

Congratulations to Ricky, his family, and everyone who has supported him throughout his career. This is a well-earned achievement, and I know he will continue to serve the people of North Carolina with distinction in this important role.
