Clarence Roberts was convicted 12 years ago for a murder he did not commit. He has been incarcerated all these years and always maintained his innocence. I was asked to take this case having never done a post-conviction trial. But I believed in his innocence and knew he needed someone who would tirelessly fight for him. I am proud to say that he trusted me with his life, trusted my work and trusted me to right this wrong. TODAY CLARENCE WAS EXONERATED AND IS A FREE MAN 🥹🥹✊🏽✊🏽

In January 2024 Mike and I went to trial on charges that had him facing over 30 years incarceration. The State offered 8 years if he took a plea. Mike refused to confess to something he did not do and that he trusted me as his attorney to see him through this.After spending too long in jail waiting for his day in court, our 7 day trial concluded and Mike got the NOT GUILTY he deserved. Today we bumped into each other on the street and he told me about his new job, new truck, and a trip to Bermuda with family celebrating his return to freedom. Never give up. ❤️❤️❤️
