This October, William & Mary’s Institute of Bill of Rights Law will commence its 36th annual Supreme Court Preview. The conference convenes leading Supreme Court experts, including journalists, judges, lawyers, and academics, to analyze the upcoming Court term: the underlying issues, topics of interest, and likely areas of legal innovation and change.

The event will begin on Friday, October 6 at 4:00 p.m. with a moot court featuring experienced Supreme Court advocates. Saturday, October 7 will include a series of expert panels to discuss and dissect the major themes and cases on the docket for next term.

Our students, faculty, and registrants discussed the upcoming Court term, with panels on topics including Civil Liberties, Criminal Law and Qualified Immunity, Statutory Interpretation, and Stare Decisis. We hope attendees (both in person and virtual) enjoyed the program, and we look forward to seeing you for next year's Preview!

The event starts this Friday at 4:00pm with a Moot Court of the Second Amendment case New York Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen (coming to the Supreme Court this fall), followed by panels on the Supreme Court & Stare Decisis, Civil Liberties, the Criminal Law Docket & Qualified Immunity, Election Law, and more.
