Final Senior Sunday Spotlight 🎓

As we wrap up our Senior Sunday series, we’re excited to celebrate Lori Munoz (Legal Assistant, Wichita office) and her daughter, Brooklyn!

Brooklyn has been active in varsity cheerleading and varsity soccer while also graduating in the top 10% of her class. She is a varsity scholar athlete and a member of the National Honor Society. We’ve especially enjoyed having Brooklyn as part of the Morris Laing team, where she currently works as a runner.

This fall, Brooklyn will attend the University of Kansas, where she plans to major in biology on the pre-med track.

Congratulations Brooklyn – we’re all cheering you on and wish you continued success in this exciting next chapter!

Senior Sunday Spotlight 🎓

This week, we’re celebrating Jennifer Captain (Director of Operations, Wichita office) and her daughter, Zoe!

In addition to her academic achievements, Zoe earned 1st place at a ceramics art fair this year. For the past three years, Zoe has volunteered with the special education department at Campus High School, assisting Dr. Miller and his students. Even after her classes ended in May, she chose to continue volunteering through the end of the school year.

This fall, Zoe will attend Washburn University to study Criminal Psychology.

Everyone at Morris Laing is proud to celebrate Zoe’s hard work, compassion, and bright future ahead!

Giving back to our community is something we value at Morris Laing, and we’re proud of our staff for taking the opportunity to spend their lunch hour volunteering with Simply Hygiene. We’re also thankful for organizations like Simply Hygiene that make it possible to give back while helping provide essential hygiene products that promote health, hope, and dignity for individuals and families throughout South Central Kansas.

Our team enjoyed helping package supplies that will make a meaningful impact in our community. Thank you to Simply Hygiene for the important work you do every day — we’re proud to support your mission!

Senior Sunday Spotlight 🎓

This week, we’re celebrating Shannon Braun (Attorney, Wichita office) and her son, Aidan!

Aidan is graduating from Andover High School, where he has been a standout distance runner. He currently holds three school track records, one league record, and is a five-time state medalist!

This fall, Aidan will attend Washburn University, where he has signed a letter of intent to compete in cross country and track while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.

Everyone at Morris Laing is cheering Aidan on and wishing him continued success both on the track and in the classroom!

It’s Senior Sunday! 🎓

Today, we’re celebrating Michala Wilson (Legal Assistant, Garden City office) and her daughter, Ashland!

Ashland is making great strides toward her future—she is on track to complete her associate’s degree next year at Garden City Community College, with plans to pursue a career as a radiologic technologist. She has already been accepted to the University of Kansas and is thoughtfully considering her next steps.
