Buying a souvenir is a problem for me when traveling. Instead of buying a model of Mt Rushmore, I built one with my 3d printer. Instead of spending $50 for a national park service arrowhead, I used my laser engraver. Now, I'm working on a laser engraved tumbler of all the places we visited instead of buying one for each place we visited. I can't stop and enjoy it.

Today, I had the advantage to view the process that will be implemented for vote by mail in DuPage County election (the benefit of helping candidates out with legal matters). The staff was incredible in their knowledge and explanations. They were asked lots of questions, some personal, and they answered them professionally. The equipment that was procured by Jean Kaczmarek has and will speed up the process and eliminate any errors. I'm looking forward to another successful election. Please vote if you can.

PSA. To make sure you know about theses emails, there are several content clues not to open or click on the download. 5. The email is a Gmail. 4. I haven't used and never really used the email they sent it to. 3. The English is not great. 2. It's long winded. The theory is if you waste so much time reading, you'll click so you didn't totally waste your time. And, number 1 reason, drum roll, you didn't order anything from an unknown person! (P.s. not sure why I get notifications from this email account anymore).

Just left the polling place with my sticker. BTW, I could not find a law that prevents a voter from taking pictures in a polling location, especially a selfie unless they are interfering with the process of others' voting or taking pictures of others' ballot. Not because I didn't look hard enough. They're is no law that prevents selfish. Basically, if you're not bothering anyone it is OK. In fact, a government that prevents you from taking a selfie of your ballot is denying you your constitutional freedom of speech. You just can't sell your vote. So, the tale that is spun about selfies makes great rumors, not fact.

Did you know the when you buy a house, you pay for your real estate agent? Typically, you're paying 2.5 to 3% of the sales price to your agent. Not many buyers knew that they pay their agent. Plus, you had no ability to negotiate the price you are paying your agent. The sellers had little wiggle room to negotiate commission prices too. The National Association of Realtors agreed that was wrong. NAR is paying $418 million on top of $215 million paid out by some Realtors for choosing the antitrust laws. The NAR is changing its antitrust procedures so buyers and sellers can negotiate the commission they pay their agent. This may be beneficial for the consumers. For more information contact a real estate attorney.

I'm impressed that the music industry that use to have a 3 minute limitation on its artists' songs can't limit its own show.
