Brown & Connery is a proud sponsor of the Gloucester County Bar Association and Gloucester County Bar Foundation 2026 Annual Golf Outing. Attorneys, Eric Fingerman, Timothy Dalton and Jim Clancy represented the firm at this event. The Gloucester County Bar Association has teamed up with the Gloucester County Bar Foundation this year to run the Annual Golf Outing. All proceeds from the event will benefit both organizations and their initiatives which include scholarships to high school students, teddy bears at adoption ceremonies and hosting an annual holiday breakfast for Gloucester County foster children.

Let’s hear it for our Brown & Connery 2026 Participants of the
EAGLES AUTISM CHALLENGE held at Lincoln Financial Field on May 9, 2026. Brown & Connery was a proud sponsor and had four B&C Team Players participate (Katherine Ray, Jennifer Evans, Madison Rupert & Amy Gilliss). The ninth annual challenge raised more than $16 million for autism research, with 6,832 participants and nearly 40,000 donations coming from around the world. This event has raised $56 million since it began in 2018. WAY TO GO BROWN & CONNERY!!!

People all around the world come together on 3/21 to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored, mismatched socks. 3/21 is symbolic because people with Down Syndrome have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome. The Gala honored individuals in the judicial, public, corporate, and private law firm sectors whose work has contributed to the advancement of women in the legal profession. Partner, Louis R. Lessig, Esquire was a speaker at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) 2026 Annual Conference in Las Vegas. He presented on “Workplace Retaliation: Recognizing Risk and Responding Right.” During the session Louis discussed the challenges companies in the automotive industry face in regard to employment retaliation and provided options for organizations to proactively address this growing economic issue impacting their respective balance sheets.

Shawn C. Huber served as presenter for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education seminar “Introduction to Civil Trial” on December 6, 2025. The seminar provided a thorough introduction to the civil trial process for newly admitted attorneys and attorneys that have not practiced civil law. The seminar explored the essential aspects of pre-trial civil litigation, from initial intake through evidence presentation at trial. Mr. Huber is a partner with the firm and concentrates his practice in personal injury, commercial litigation, municipal law, and subrogation matters. He has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney since 2011.
