6:30 P.M. on a Thursday night. The Law Offices of Dean J. Barbera is still open? Of course we are! Preparing for a 7 p.m. closing! Yesterday we set our record for most closings in a single day (This Summer - Not an all time record.) by closing a total of 26 loans! We have a total of 8 attorneys including myself, and we close 7 days a week! We had a closing on the books for 6:30 a.m. earlier this week and 9:30 p.m. late last week! We close when you want, where you want! Boom! 💥 🤯

This past week my family and I traveled to Sicily! We visited San Vito Lo Capo, Trapani, Favignana, and Palermo. We swam in the warm, salty sea, soaked up the Sicilian sun, drank all the wine and spritz’s and ate all the food! It was a wonderful trip, but we are looking forward to getting back home! Ciao Sicily! 🇮🇹

Friday Book Recommendation: “Papa Hemingway, A Personal Memoir”. This is quite possibly my favorite book of all time. You’ve read his works, but you don’t know him until you read this book. He will teach you what it is to live! And on that note I’m headed to Italy for a week and will be back in the office on Monday, July 27th. Nicole and Kelsey will be here as usual and Attorney Nigoghosian and our other attorneys will be closing loans non-stop as usual!

Monday Motivation! I hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed the incredible weather! I certainly took advantage of it and got in my 4th 20 mile run in the past 4 weeks on Saturday. It was light years more comfortable than last week’s long run during the heat wave. This week I ran out to Lowell and back and felt great. In fact it went so well I ran 12 miles Sunday morning as well. What are you doing to challenge yourself these days? Please feel free to share whatever it is out here to motivate the rest of us! I’m a big believer that we should be doing hard things every day!

Friday Book Recommendation. This week I am recommending “Signs, The Secret Language of the Universe” by Laura Lynne Jackson. If you’ve ever lost someone extremely close to you and miss them to the point where it hurts, I highly recommend that you read this book. In 2022 I lost My Mom in May and my Dad just 3 months later in August. This book helped bring some joy back into my life during that dark time. Enjoy it.

Monday Motivation: This morning was a big morning! My 13 year old son Ronin has been running with me sporadically all through the years. He works out all the time, and he is in great shape. He’s been wanting to run 10 miles with me for a long time and today he woke up with me at 5:30 am in Ogunquit, Maine and ran a solid 10 miles! I’m extremely proud of him!
