National Day for Truth and Reconciliation reminds us that reconciliation is an ongoing commitment, grounded in listening, learning, relationship-building and action.
Yesterday, our Vancouver office was honoured to host Investing in the Next Generation, a discussion featuring Chief Wesley Sam of Ts'il Kaz Koh First Nation and Robert Brant, Co-Head of our Indigenous Projects and Transactions Group. Together, they shared valuable perspectives on Indigenous-led economic development, the power of partnership, and the opportunities that economic reconciliation can create for current and future generations.
We extend our sincere thanks to Chief Wesley Sam for sharing his experiences and insights, and for emphasizing the importance of investing in youth, strengthening communities, and creating lasting opportunities through reconciliation in action.
Led by our Legal and Strategic Advisor, Indigenous Initiatives, John Brown, McCarthy Tetrault is committed to advancing reconciliation in a good way by listening and taking action toward a future built on respect, trust and shared prosperity.
