Ambrosino Law Firm going above and beyond, to the point of becoming part of the plea sheet. In this case, my client needed to be transported directly from the jail in Belle Glade to the train station to go to Connecticut - it was the only way the plea was going to work.

So I had his mom mail me his things, drove out to Belle Glade, picked him up and ran the Ambrosino Law Firm taxi service directly to the train station, with an hour to spare.

Whatever it takes to get the right result ...

Reading the article, it states probable cause was found by the judge, but it is unclear whether or not the defendant has legal counsel ...

Sounds wrong to me. If the judge is making a determination in court regarding the liberty of a defendant and he has no counsel, well, let’s just say Seattle seems to suspend individual’s rights, depending on the circumstance ...

And, no matter the moment, that is not right...

While it felt a bit odd wearing a ski mask in a courtroom in the middle of Florida’s summer, after an hour of argument my client avoided a mandatory prison sentence and was reinstated again on probation (2nd violation which happened 3 months after the first) after multiple violations ... was touch and go there during the hearing, but in the end my client was a happy guy. And so was I ...

In what world does a defendant, innocent until proven guilty, receive a notice of arraignment where, along with the date and time, he is told “at the time of sentencing the court will impose ... the following costs and obligations”.

One of the many reasons every person accused should have a trained lawyer by their side. You can’t let the system act like you are guilty and assume there will be a sentencing before the first hearing. It is just not right. Certainly not the values this country was founded upon ...

This week, I was able to turn 0 bond on a life felony and 3 other major crimes into a ‘get out of jail this week’ bond, get a monitor taken off a client’s leg due to a deposition conducted with an inconsistent witness and take someone who violated probation multiple times from the very real possibility of a prison cell to a treatment facility, where he belongs ... good week for all.

To some, these just look like two ankles and feet, but to me they look like two feet and ankles that just had an ankle monitor taken off them through a granted motion and can now roam freely around Florida! Definitely made the drive to Broward worth the time...
