We recently came together as a team at our firm retreat and, true to who we are, made giving back part of our day. 💙📚

Our team partnered with the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County to create literacy kits for kindergarteners at an elementary school in West Palm Beach. Each kit included the book Who Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up? by Paula Faris, along with a note card and bookmark where we wrote messages of encouragement for the students.

Our team loved being part of this project, and the care and enthusiasm everyone brought to it speaks to the heart of our firm. We are proud to support the Literacy Coalition’s work, with Firm Partner Ryan McCarthy serving on its Board of Directors.

Thank you to the Literacy Coalition for partnering with us and to Megan Bob, Director of Education and Family Literacy, for joining us to share more about the organization’s work and its impact throughout Palm Beach County.

SIGNIFICANT RECOVERY AFTER INSURERS TRIED TO SHIFT THE BLAME: Firm Partner Joe Landy secured a significant recovery for a child who suffered devastating injuries after being struck by a car.

The family was already dealing with the trauma of their daughter’s injuries when they were further victimized by the very systems that should have helped them. The insurance carrier tried to blame the child for the crash, the PIP provider failed to pay and the health insurer delayed and denied claims.

Firm Partner Ryan McCarthy and Attorney Austin Diaz attended “A View From the Jury Box,” hosted by the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Judicial Relations Committee.

The seminar gave attendees the opportunity to hear directly from former jurors about their experiences in civil and criminal trials, offering valuable insight into the jury process.

Firm Partner Glenn Siegel secured a $550,000 settlement for a client who was injured when a commercial truck rear-ended her vehicle.

Glenn’s work on the case began at a critical moment: the woman’s call to our firm was months after the crash and on the eve of her having a surgical procedure on her spine that she didn’t understand.
