SLOW it DOWN or GET a SCHOOL ZONE CAMERA TICKET!!

Florida enacted the School Zone Safety Program on May 31st, 2023. Under this law, the use of cameras is authorized to enforce speeding violations in school zones before, after and throughout the school day. Wellington will begin implementing the use of cameras for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. No violations will be issued during the first 30 days of the program.

Warning period: August 11, 2025 - September 12, 2025
Enforcement begins September 15, 2025

BOI UPDATE! Once again there has been a change in the rules for BOI Reporting! “All entities created in the United States — including those previously known as “domestic reporting companies” — and their beneficial owners are now exempt from the requirement to report beneficial ownership information (BOI) to FinCEN”. See below for more information; or go to: www.fincen.gov.

[Updated March 21, 2025] .....FinCEN. Existing foreign companies that must report their beneficial ownership information have at least an additional 30 days from the date of publication of the interim final rule. For more information, see press release and alert.

ALERT [updated Feb. 19, 2025]: Beneficial ownership reporting requirements are back in effect, with a new deadline of March 21, 2025 for most companies. FinCEN will assess its options for further modifying deadlines. For more info go to FINCEN.GOV or contact our office 561-655-9400.
