I have a general rule, if someone sends me a friend request that I do not know and they do not have a a profile photo, multiple mutual friends and previous posts that I can see that are personal (meaning not simply landscape shots, food or cute sayings) I do not accept the request. A friend of mine received a friend request under my name without a profile photo - that is not me. If you received something similar ignore it.
