ons worked in law enforcement – one a sheriff’s deputy and another who works with the Melbourne Village Police Department – along with a daughter-in-law who works as a crime scene agent, authorities said. Pill, who worked 16 years with the sheriff’s office, including ten years as a deputy, was shot and killed about 11:15 a.m. today during a traffic stop near John Rodes Boulevard in Melbourne.
